RMS Marketplace Standard License

Version 1.0

This license governs permitted use of eligible digital assets purchased through the RMS Marketplace.

The creator retains all copyright and ownership in the licensed asset. The buyer receives a nonexclusive, nontransferable, perpetual license to use the asset under the terms below.

Permitted Uses

What the Buyer May Do

Use the asset in completed personal, commercial, promotional, or monetized projects.

Incorporate the asset into videos, podcasts, websites, social media content, presentations, streams, and digital productions.

Edit, trim, loop, arrange, synchronize, resize, or otherwise adapt the asset as part of a larger completed project.

Continue using completed projects after purchase, subject to this license.

Restrictions

What the Buyer May Not Do

Resell, redistribute, sublicense, share, gift, transfer, or make the raw asset available to another person or business.

Offer the asset as a standalone stock item, sample, template, download, collection, library item, NFT, or competing marketplace product.

Claim authorship, copyright ownership, publishing ownership, or exclusive rights in the original asset.

Register the raw asset by itself with Content ID, fingerprinting, rights-management, or automated ownership systems.

Use the asset to train an artificial intelligence or machine learning system without separate written authorization from RMS Global Publishing and the applicable rights holder.

Use the asset in unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, infringing, or intentionally harmful material.

Attribution

Credit Requirement

Where credits are customary or reasonably available, the buyer must provide attribution in substantially this form:

“[Asset Title]” by [Creator Name], licensed through RMS Global Publishing.

A product record may specify different attribution requirements. Those product-specific terms control for that asset.

Ownership

Rights Retained

No copyright, trademark, publishing right, master ownership, authorship right, or other intellectual-property ownership transfers to the buyer.

All rights not expressly granted by this license remain with the creator, rights holder, and RMS Global Publishing as applicable.

License Record

Purchase-Specific Documentation

A completed purchase may generate a separate license record containing the buyer, order number, product ID, asset title, creator, purchase date, license number, permitted uses, and applicable restrictions.

The license version in effect at the time of purchase governs that transaction.

Important Limitation

Separate Rights May Be Required

This standard marketplace license does not automatically grant theatrical, broadcast, major advertising, trailer, film, television, game, app, political, endorsement, trademark, exclusivity, or custom synchronization rights unless the specific product listing expressly includes them.

Those uses may require an RMS Extended Commercial License, RMS Sync License, or separate written agreement.
